Vehicle Servicing
Renault servicing generally takes place in three or four different forms, oil and filter change [SS], Interim service [IS] Full service [FS] or Major service [MS]. At Diamond Motors, we advise our customers that the most important thing that they can do to prolong the life and performance of their car is to have an oil and filter change at least once a year or every 12,500 or 18,000 miles (Depending on your vehicles service interval guide Vs your actual annual mileage).
This practise will help stop unexpected breakdowns and allow you to better plan for your vehicle maintenance through the year.
All Diamond Motors Renault service work is carried out to the highest standards, following approved processes, using genuine Renault parts and approved Renault specification oils/fluids. Each job is transparently invoiced (showing parts and labour breakdowns). Your service book will be completed and stamped in the relevant sections along with the vehicles electronic service counter being reset. All work will come with our standard 12 months parts and labour warranty. Finally, for extra piece of mind, Diamond Motors is a registered Renault Trade Club member.

By correctly servicing and maintaining your vehicle you reduce the chance of wear on engine components and the vehicles other systems as well. The document to the right details the other checks which are covered by Diamond Motors when servicing your vehicle.
The oil filter needs to be changed at the same time as the engine oil because the oil collects contaminants left over from the combustion process which clogs up the oil filter and ultimately reduces the life of your vehicles engine and its efficiency.
The more intense the service, the more parts and components will be checked, to some extent all levels of servicing will help in the following:
- Saving you money- Preventing untimely breakdowns
- Increasing your MPG (i.e. make your fuel last longer)
- Increase your all round general vehicle safety
- Keeping within legal requirements
