2011 Timing Belt Price Guide:
Please bare in mind that when comparing the our prices with those of other garages that Diamond Motors will not only service your vehicle as per Renaults service schedules and replacement interval guides but will only ever use genuine type approved Renault parts. In most cases this will include for the supply and installation of a genuine Renault timing belt kit, any seals required during the routine servicing of your vehicles timing belt setup and a new water pump with “Type-D” specification coolant. Additionally, as per the Renault parts replacement scheme, Diamond Motors will also include for the supply and installation of a genuine Renault auxiliary drive belt, tensioner and idler pulley(s) which are also normally required, especially on the newer generation of 16-valve petrol engines to avoid expensive repairs should the old part fail due to age and fatigue.
For vehicles that employ “VVC” or “Variable Valve Timing” it is worth noting that a new “dephaser pulley” may be required. Unless specifically requested or unless a fault is diagnosed in your vehicles existing unit beforehand, Diamond Motors price will not include for this component to be replaced. We will however fit one at the cost of the replacement unit whilst carrying out a timing belt service on a vehicle for free.
